Druid's Glen Golf Course

Nestled between the Irish Sea and the Wicklow Mountains, Druids Glen Resort is a golfer’s paradise, featuring two contrasting championship golf courses, Druids Glen and Druids Heath. Follow in the footsteps of the game’s greatest players and enjoy a thrilling golfing experience.
Although Druids Glen only opened in 1995, it was the home of the Irish Open, Ireland’s premier golfing event from 1996 to 1999. It has been host to such golfing greats as Ernie Els, Seve Ballesteros, Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomerie, Jose Maria Olazabal, John Daly and was the scene of Sergio Garcia’s first professional tour victory in 1999.
The mystique of the natural setting, coupled with the rich history of the land and picturesque 18-hole course leaves no wonder why Druids Glen was voted European Golf Course of the year in 2000.
Over 7,000 yds of immaculate golf course awaits the visitor golfer. Steeped in Irish History dating back over 400 years, this course offers some of the most challenging holes of the European Tour, including an island green on the 17th hole and a unique Celtic cross on the 12th hole.
Druids Glen was the venue of the Seve Ballesteros Trophy in April 2002. A must for any golfer.
Druids Glen Resort opened its second 18-holes in 2003 known as Druids Heath I haven't had the pleasure of playing it but by all accounts it is a superb challenge of golf.
