Tara Glen Golf & Country Club Crest

Tara Glen is a private, carefree oasis located on Ireland's famous 'sunny south east’ coast near Ballymoney, County Wexford, Ireland. With direct access to secluded beaches and nestled in c.100 acres of landscaped parkland, Tara Glen is the perfect place to enjoy leisure time with family and friends.
Our unique facility includes a challenging 9 hole GUI/ILGU affiliated golf course, children's den, tennis courts, a soccer pitch, crazy golf, boules, adventure playgrounds and a fully licensed modern clubhouse and lounge. Unlike most Holiday Parks, you can enjoy all of the amenities twelve months of the year. Residents’ privacy is assured as electronically controlled gates, CCTV, and security personnel secure the park. So whether it's a 'full on' summer holiday for the family, or a 'quiet' off season weekend enjoying a relaxing game of golf or a refreshing walk on the beach - Tara Glen is the answer.
Tara Glen has evolved steadily since its inception in the mid eighties and since 1992 its members wholly own Tara Glen plc; the golf course, assets and lands owned by the company. Members of the board of management and various development, golf and social committees are elected residents. TG provides full time and seasonal local employment, including a permanent Manager, Greenkeeper, Groundsman and a variety of support staff. Our 'hands on' approach guarantees the ongoing development of the company, the protection of its assets and the total control of our own destiny to ensure that we continue to provide the best facilities for our members, their families and guests to enjoy.
We are constantly upgrading and updating our treasured facility. Each year has seen the introduction of some new feature, or the enhancement of an existing facility, ensuring Tara Glen Golf & Country Club continues to be 'the best' of the best.
We are part of the local Ballymoney community and are grateful for their support and welcoming friendship. We run a number of events each year to raise funds for deserving local and national charities and are proud to support local events.
We are proud of everything that we have achieved over the years and will always remain welcoming and friendly, as we are very aware of how fortunate we are to be a part of Tara Glen Golf & Country Club. We are especially grateful for the lifelong friends we've made in TG and look forward to the friends we'll make as new families continue to join us...

Our Men’s & Ladies’ Golf Clubs are fully affiliated with Golf Ireland, so your golf handicap can be fully assigned from & managed from Tara Glen. Both clubs offer a full range & variety of competitions throughout the golfing season. There is plenty opportunity to showcase your golf course to friends and relations, through semi-opens and a variety of team events.

We use an online booking system for competition time-sheet reservation & we also use e-mail & SMS text services to keep members up to date on happenings, the golfing season, the highlight being the Men’s and Ladies Captain’s Prize both held on seperate weekends in August.

During the peak summer months of July & August there is a vibrant programme of Junior golf, for kids aged 10 years and upwards.

So even if you don’t play golf yourself (yet!), your children will have a great opportunity to take up the game and perhaps become the next Irish golf star. For visitor enquiries regarding Green Fees, email golf@taraglen.ie

We aim to offer a genuine and warm welcome to all, however during the peak summer months the course is very busy and it may not be possible to accommodate visitors.
