Newly renovated, The South County has the feel of a real Irish pub with old world atmosphere. The pub features live Irish music sessions four nights a week throughout the year. A new feature of the pub is a really great outdoor space with T.V.s and open fires. Home cooked lunches and great value evening meals are also on offer Monday to Friday.  The South County has recently been approved under Ireland's first National Pub Accredtation scheme aimed at ensuring quality Irish pubs are recognised and promoted both at home and abroad (in conjunction with Fáilte Ireland).

The motto of the pub is Bia, deoch, ceol agus caint which means food, drinks, music and conversation ..... and that's what the South County is all about!
