The Creamery Bar & Restaurant

The Creamery Restaurant or as the locals call it "upstairs at the Creamery", nestles under the eaves of the old building. The original uncoated walls & beams create a warm cosy atmosphere together with the fabulous old chandeliers.
The restaurant serves a full a la carte menu with the finest of Irish steaks and seafood cooked on an open chargrill within the restaurant. It is medium priced offering good value for money. It has an extensive wine list including many favourites from the New World.
The restaurant caters for parties of all sizes, why not contact us for further information or availability. The Creamery Bar is famous for serving an excellent pint of Guinness and you can even buy your own commemorative pint glass to bring home. It is also an excellent place to enjoy a good Irish whiskey, with more than 25 different whiskeys to choose from. If history is what you want, and you want to sample a whiskey distilled when this place was still a creamery (it ceased collecting milk in 1976), then you should sample one of the old Redbreast Pure Pot Stills with its distinctive red top and neck collar – you’ll find the bottle placed on the top shelf of the bar for safe keeping, so as not to confuse it with the current version of Redbreast 12 Year Old. The Creamery Bar’s owners, David and Noel, also bought a cask of Bushmills Millennium Malt in 2000. They like to keep it for customers they think will truly appreciate this exceptional 25 year old Single Malt, so if ever you wanted to pass off as a whiskey connoisseur, the Creamery Bar may just be the place to do it!
