Welcome to Bill Chawke's Bar. Established in 1846, the bar has a long tradition of sport and music with both locals and visitors to the village of Adare. The bar was recently refurbished inside and outside to provide excellent facilities for LIVE sporting events on our large plasma screen televisions and also to facilitate barbeques in our beer garden.
Bill Chawke's is a large bar with separate games room with pool table, darts board and a duke box with all the latest hits uploaded regularly. This makes the bar the perfect choice for parties and functions of all sizes.
Our magnificent Beer Garden Area is very popular with our customers as it provides ‘state of the art’ barbequing facilities in a very well appointed area which can accommodate a large number of guests.  If the weather turns sour (as it often does) we have an adjacent indoor area which is very comfortable and is easily accessible from the bar and the beer garden.
One service that has recently become exceedingly popular is our ‘Pig on a Spit’ Post Wedding Party as it provides a wonderfully relaxed way to round off your special weekend, in a warm hearty Irish way!  Contact us for further details.
